The spankin new homepage!

Alright, I know its been a long time coming, but here it is! Brand spankin new homepage for Baatey.com.. Dhan ta nnan!




Here are few updates to the home page:

1) Top description is now easier to read, concise and to the point
2) The live streams of Bollywood Tweets is the center of attention on homepage.
3) All new bollywood updates from Google on the right navigation.
4) Twitter Oaths section - new idea we are working on. Will describe in detail in a later post.
5) New Login interface - AJAX view of the login box so user doesn't have to leave the homepage.
6) Color combination is easier on the eyes!

Let us know what you think of the new design and any new improvements we can make to it.

Google Wave on Baatey.com

Recently we got access to a Google Wave account and have been playing around with it to find cool uses for baatey.com - just to test it out though, we added a wave from the google wave developer sandbox.. Right now if you have a google wave account you can participate in the conversations in the wave right here from baatey.com - for those of you who do not have a google wave account yet, just waive few weeks. Google should be rolling out beta invites sometime in September.
